What you need to have in place to launch your business
As a female entrepreneur, you need to know what you don’t know when it comes to what needs to be in place in order to launch your business.
I was in a Facebook group Q&A post not long ago where a female solopreneur indicated that she was stuck because she didn’t know what would get her unstuck.
I wanted to know more, so I dug a little deeper - what place was she stuck in the launch of her business that she didn’t know how to address?
To which she replied, “hmm good question actually. I didn't KNOW the process, so I didn't really know where I was supposed to be, or what I should be doing next or sometimes I knew WHAT to do but had no idea how...”
She didn’t know what she didn’t know.
As for any aspect of our lives, this is a tough place to be.
So let me lay it out for you.
Here is what you need to have in place to launch your business.
💡 Get clear on your values and vision, and align your business/brand accordingly.
💡 Create distinctive visuals that speak to your brand.
💡 Develop your brand voice consistent with this visual representation, and your vision and values.
💡 Know who your target audience is - those that can benefit most from what you have to offer; get specific.
💡 Understand where your audience spends their time, so that you can reach them and make them aware of your products and/or services.
💡 As you do make connections, build your email list — as the saying goes, “don’t build your house on rented land.” (I learned this the hard way.)
💡 Research and select online platforms and tools to create your digital presence and deliver your offering.
💡 Determine how you will accept payments from your clients/customers.
💡 Identify the talent and external resources you’ll need, freeing up your time to focus on your high value activities.
💡 Set up and understand your financials (both Profit & Loss Statement and Balance Sheet), getting a firm grasp on your revenue streams (inflow), monthly expenses (outflow) and profit.
Now that you know, are you stuck on any of these steps?
